Swedish Tax Agency System Renewal and Digital Transformation
Project introduction
Within the dynamic landscape of the Swedish Tax Agency, I embarked on a transformative journey, contributing my expertise as a UX designer to several pivotal projects aimed at enhancing digital experiences. These initiatives spanned service and interaction design, as well as my role as a product owner for the design system. I was particularly excited to be part of a project that envisioned the future of case processing. This venture demanded a fusion of business development, digitalization, and creative thinking to map both present-day needs and to imagine future working methods for our dedicated employees.
Championing User-Centered Design
The heart of this project was a relentless focus on user-centered design. To create meaningful change, I conducted in-depth user interviews that unveiled unique user situations, needs, and aspirations. This laid the foundation for productive workshops and discussions that led to the creation of comprehensive requirements, user journeys, and impact maps, among other critical artifacts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Working closely in cross-functional teams was instrumental to this project's success. This collaboration encompassed UX professionals, enabling us to craft compelling user stories, develop prototypes for new systems, and conduct user testing. Additionally, I played a vital role in ensuring that our solutions adhered to WCAG accessibility standards, thereby ensuring accessibility in expert systems designed for administrators.
Facilitating Innovation Workshops
I facilitated several workshops that brought together diverse talents from various departments. These sessions fostered a deep understanding of user needs, leading to the creation of wireframes, customer journeys, impact maps, and prototypes. This collaborative approach was pivotal in creating solutions that truly resonated with both internal stakeholders and end-users.
Achieving Results
My leadership and expertise in design resulted in significant project outcomes. From my vantage point, I have observed the remarkable evolution of the UX/UI framework, a testament to the commitment to enhancing digital experiences. I am proud to have been at the forefront of several projects that delivered impactful results, rooted in my experience and passion for design.
